Our levels are designed to match athletes with the right classes based on their fitness, technical ability, and HYROX experience. This allows everyone to train at the right intensity, push harder together, and keep progressing.

🟢 Level 1 – Foundation


You know how to train. We teach you HYROX.

🔵 Level 2 – Intermediate


Confident in HYROX. Building race performance.

⚫ Level 3 – Advanced


Experienced competitor. Ready for Pro standards.

Level 1 – Foundation

For athletes who are new to HYROX but already have experience with strength training or group fitness.

You should:

Have 1–2 years of regular strength or functional training.

Be comfortable with fundamental movements (squat, hinge, lunge, push, pull, carry).

Feel confident using barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, and bodyweight exercises.

Be new to HYROX or preparing for your first race.

No HYROX experience is required.

SkiErg, RowErg, sleds, pacing, and race-specific skills are taught in this level.

Classes:

Essentials, Athletic Performance, Mobility, Easy Run, Intervals + Outdoor Classes


NOT recommendable:

Engine, Super Engine, Strength, Fartlek, Long Run, or Beast

Level 2 – Intermediate

For athletes who have developed a solid HYROX foundation and are ready for more volume and intensity.

You should:

Use the SkiErg and RowErg with good technique.

Be comfortable running 5–10 km continuously.

Know all fundamental HYROX movements.

Complete most sessions with little or no scaling.

Be building towards race-day performance.

Classes:

All Classes except Hyrox Beast

Level 3 – advanced

For experienced athletes training for performance.

You should:

Engine

  • Female:2:15 /500 m SKI/ERG across repeated intervals.

  • Male:2:00 /500 m SKI/ERG across repeated intervals.

Running

  • Comfortable running 10 km continuously.

  • Able to sustain race pace during interval sessions.

Strength & Movement

  • Female: Confident with 6 kg wall balls.

  • Male: Confident with 9 kg wall balls.

  • Comfortable using HYROX Pro competition weights.

  • Maintains excellent movement quality under fatigue.

Experience

  • Regular HYROX or strength & conditioning training.

  • Completes high-intensity sessions with minimal scaling.

  • Recovers well between efforts while maintaining technique.
